MORE INFO AND PRAYER CARD FOR Don & Suzanne Rumbaugh
|
Don Rumbaugh, a family practice doctor, has been involved in short-term foreign missions for years through TEAM HEALTHCARE, a mission organization he started in the early ‘90’s while doing Family Practice medicine in Pompton Plains, NJ. Don is also ordained through the Christian and Missionary Alliance and served the local church as Family Life Pastor and Youth Director for three years. The whole Rumbaugh family first came to Honduras in 2000 on a short-term team, then again to serve for a half year in 2002, launching the pastoral training program which is still used for effective teaching and discipling area pastors. Knowing they were called to come back to Honduras, Don and Suzanne returned to NJ to settle medical practice and ministerial commitments, establish their two sons, Luke and Eric, at Grove City College in PA, and returned to Loma de Luz with their daughters, Amanda (2/19/1990), and Amy (9/19/1994), in the fall of 2005. Don serves in the medical clinic and is the Missionary Consultant to
the Chaplaincy, assisting the hospital chaplain with on-sight pastoral
training and giving oversight to the spiritual outreach and discipling
opportunities that abound at Hospital Loma de Luz. Suzanne uses her teaching
skills to serve the many missionary children here on the mission field. Sending agency: The Rumbaughs in Honduras: Stateside contact: | |
