Wards
After working two years on an agriculture project in the Celaque Mountains of Western Honduras, Brad and Trish Ward came to Loma de Luz in July of 2009 as resident agricultural missionaries to manage the hospital’s many acres of valuable crops. This work will help to provide the financial resources the hospital uses to minister to the needs of the many people in the area who do not have access to medical care. They also work in the surrounding villages with subsistence farm families, promoting sustainable agricultural practices to help them transform their communities into more self sufficient and healthy places. Their two daughters, Sydney (8/8/95) and Sammey (5/18/99), are with them. Their motivation for life and serving as missionaries is summed up in their own words, “We love Jesus and love sharing the good news of life and hope found in Him.”
